Director Parthiban and AR Rahman launched the first song from their upcoming film, Iravin Nizhal, on Sunday (May 1). At the event, Parthiban lost his cool and threw the microphone at the audience. This left AR Rahman, reporters and fans shocked. Later, Prathiban understood his mistake and apologised for losing his cool. He also said that he was under a lot of pressure and didn’t think it through.

Apart from his acting projects, Parthiban has also been busy with his upcoming film, Iravin Nizhal. The film has music composed by none other than AR Rahman. The film’s first song was launched yesterday (May 1) at a grand event in Chetpet, Chennai.
At the event, Parthiban and AR Rahman were conversing with each other on stage. When Robo Shankar asked him to pass the microphone, Parthiban lost his cool and said, “You should have asked this before,” and threw the microphone at him and the audience. This left AR Rahman and the audience shocked.
