She captioned the post, “Today is two years since Rishi Ji left us … loosing a partner of 45 years was difficult n painful at that time the only way to heal my heart was to keep myself mentally occupied .. Movie n television helped me achieve that 🙏 Rishiji will always be remembered n will stay in everyone’s heart forever ❤️”
Now, during an interaction with News 18, the veteran actress talked about her husband’s demise. She expressed that not a single day has gone by that her family doesn’t think of the late legend. She also stated that the initial six months were really difficult. Neetu added that though they have moved on, they still remember him every day.
Talking about their son Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu shared that the ‘Tamasha’ actor misses his father a lot. She went on to say that Ranbir still has a picture of Rishi as the screensaver of his phone. Neetu also stated that some days see tears in Ranbir’s eyes but the actor stays strong.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Neetu will next feature in Raj Mehta’s ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ co-starring Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani.
