Kashmera Shah comes out in support of Payal after her alcohol abuse revelation, says ‘she’s telling truth’

On Lock Upp, Payal Rohatgi opened up about the time when she was heavily into drinking post her stint on Bigg Boss 2. Kashmera Shah has now come out in support of her.

In an earlier episode of Lock Upp, Payal Rohatgi shared her last secrets on the Judgement Day ahead of the finale. While speaking in front of Kangana Ranaut, Payal Rohatgi opened up about how after a ‘detrimental relationship’ she became an alcoholic and had suicidal thoughts. Following this, Kashmera Shah has come out to support Payal. She wrote a note for her on social media and told fans that Payal is not lying .


Kashmera Shah, who is quite active on social media, took to her official Twitter handle and shared a video clip wherein Payal Rohatgi is seen making the big revelation. Along with it, she wrote, “Guys she is telling the truth. I met her and was with her one night because I was worried that she would do something. I never wanted to talk about this but I don’t want you all to think she is lying for votes because she is Not Lying (sic).”

Payal Rohatgi shared her secret on Lock Upp where she spoke about being in a relationship in which she got addicted to alcohol and also had suicidal thoughts. She said, “There was this love angle, which was very detrimental in my personal life. Got heavily into drinking. I used to drink for 48 hours. I used to be on prescribed drugs. I used to be suicidal. I have tried to cut my hands.”

Payal broke down while sharing her secret with the world and also revealed that she would often beg the other person to return to her. At present, Payal is in a relationship with wrestler Sangram Singh, who has also appeared on Lock Upp and proposed to Payal for marriage.
